Tips and Tricks for Relieving Bed Sores to Ease Dry Weak Skin

Tips and Tricks for Relieving Bed Sores: One of the most useful findings that I have used as a caregiver with my 98-year-old grandmother who had a (stage 3-4) bed sores and very weak skin is “Pure coconut oil” (water based). It comes in a bottle and you can find these bottles almost everywhere, I have found this to be the very effective on a person who is older and has extreme sensitive skin. When using this coconut oil it works best to dab it on and not “ rub” in his/her skin. One of the most important factors to consider when dealing with loved ones with  bed sores or weak skin is that you never want to rub in products. It is always best to dab gently and this product works perfectly and is harmless, I now use this as a moisturizer myself when my skin looks dry. Most importantly it is important to realize that it is crucial to never rub anything onto the individuals skin when dealing with any type of bedsore because you can cause skin break down which defeats the purpose of helping the skin rejuvenate.

Another SECRET tip of mine is utilizing Aquaphor for dry skin and using it around a bed sore that is in the process of being created on his/her body. The reason why I believe that this great to use is because it’s not hard to place onto the body where you have to rub it in; it’s very easy to damp chunks of it onto soft and weak skin (without doing any damage to new skin).

But I have found helpful information that has worked for me, and will continue to conduct my own research on how to deal with this condition on a day-to-day basis… My goal is to provide practical ways to deal with the mental, emotional needs, meal preparation, and guide you to helpful products.
